• Laurel County Health In Motion Coalition

    Laurel County Health Department began partnering with Saint Joseph London in May of 2011 to complete a community health assessment every three years. In 2015, the group officially became the Laurel County Health In Motion Coalition and has a membership of over 20 community agencies. Laurel County Health Department is a proud and active member of the coalition.

  • Harm Reduction Syringe Exchange Program

    Every Tuesday & Thursday from 10:00am-2:00pm

    Located at the back entrance of the health department.

  • Laurel County Agency for Substance Abuse Policy (ASAP)

    The Kentucky Agency for Substance Abuse Policy (KY-ASAP) was created in 2000 to develop a strategic plan to reduce the prevalence of alcohol, tobacco and other drug use among youth and adult populations in Kentucky and coordinate efforts among state and local agencies in the area of substance abuse prevention.

  • Laurel County Rural Community Opioid Response Consortium

    The consortium’s mission is to reduce morbidity and mortality associated with opioid overdoses in Laurel County by establishing a multi-sectoral consortium to strengthen and support the organizational and infrastructure capacity of efforts with prevention, education, treatment and recovery services. And to improve the attitudes and perceptions of MAT ensuring a supportive safe climate to reduce perceived stigmas associated with Opioid Use Disorder and treatment.

  • Tri-County Cancer Coalition

    The Laurel County Health Department supports the Tri-County Cancer Coalition by being an active participant in coalition meetings and activities and by referring cancer patients for services provided by the coalition.

    The coalition assists cancer patients and survivors in reclaiming their lives. It is our goal to achieve this vision through compassion, commitment, knowledge and support.
